Hi,
I've got an incompressible combustion model, which updates temperature based on a combustion model. Now I would like to have this temperature affect the pressure field, but I can't for the life of me think how to do this. I realise it's something to do with the thermophysical model and the thermo->correct line, however my pressure still stays constant.

Okay I am fairly certain the thermo.correct() line is the one responsible for updating the pressure with temperature, and the reason it's not working is because I'm using a psi type thermophysical model and my psi values aren't being update. I'm using a psi thermophysical model in order to use the built in combustion models, is there some way to update my psi values during the run? I tried psi = thermo.psi(), but this gave me errors.

Dear Cameron,

I am currently working on modifying the "reactingFoam" solver from compressible to incompressible".

I have started by changing the Make/options file.

However I will also need to include an incompressible combustion model (to replace the current compressible combustion models available)

If possible could you post your incompressible combustion model?

I ultimately wish to simulate a high pressure hydrogen release (3 mm diameter at about 1000 m/s).

My plan is to use reactingFoam (switching off chemistry and reactions). I plan to modify the reactingFoam solver into an incompressible solver and then further modify it to run in steady state.

I would appreciate any comments or advice regarding this approach?

Kind regards,

James
