Hi,

Can someone please tell me how to solve this problem?

I have a wind domain with a fixed inlet velocity 5m/s. In the middle of the domain is a cylindrical chimney releasing air at 8m/s in the vertical direction. I want to be able to trace the air velocity of the chimney so I can view it as a separate volume field and therefore be able to view those contours as a different colour preset to the domain velocity.

Does this involve adding passive scalars to the solver? I've seen some posts on quite similar problems but I'm quite amateur at this so a clear explanation would be very helpful!

Thanks,

Lucas
