Hi there,
I want to understand the meaning of those terms used from OpenFoam like for example RAS turbulence. The following is written in the userguide: RASModel uses Reynolds-averaged stress (RAS) modelling; But what does that mean? Does someone know where I can find the explanation to that? under this link there is a list, but also no explanation of what is ment with for example: kEpsilon Standard high- model In the RASproperties there are lises many keywords like kEpsilonCoeffs. Where can I find their meaning? Regards, tH3f0rC3 |

Hi,
You are asking basic questions about turbulence models. Look up in search sites and you will find a lot of information about this. |

Aaaaaaah, OK. Thank you. I thought this would be names created for turbulencemodels from the one who programmed this files. But these files are named to their scientific background. Thank you! Regards, tH3f0rC3 |
