Hi, Foamers,
I am trying to do hurricane boundary layer CFD simulation using OpenFoam, one of the problems is setting bottom boundary condition. I am trying to set up a "partial-slip" wall boundary condition for the simulation. according to the empirical relationship, the surface stress is calculated based on near-surface velocity. this makes wall boundary condition in OpenFoam is invalid here. I notes that there is a partial slip boundary condition in OpenFoam, but I can not fig out how this is implemented since the description for this boundary condition in User's guide is vague. any suggestion? thanks a lot |
