Hey everybody,

I am stuck on how to generate grid readable to OpenFOAM from from my GIS based DEM (digital elevation model) data. It consist of XYZ point file (1000 x 1000 points).

Here my objective is to Analyse the flow over a terrain usning RANS or LES.

Any suggestion will be highly appriciated,

Generate a 999x999 grid with the correct upper boundary. Find out what the point numbering is for the lowest layer of points.

Hack the movePoints application to move the points to the correct position while morphing the internal points.
