Hi all,
I'm working on my first 3D openFoam case. My domain is a 3D parallelepiped. inside it, I specified a 3D drop (not a smoothed interface) using the equation of a sphere. In the paraFoam, I can see my domain but the drop is not inside. It is on both front and back planes as a 2D interface. I'm still using setGammaDamBreak on openFoam-1.3. I don't think is a paraFoam error, but also I think doing the best initialisation (checkMesh worked well). Where is my mistake. Please help. Djemai |

Match your problem step by step with the dambreak tutorial and compare. I'm sure you have missed something. Post your case here if possible. There is little anyone can do to help you with such less information.

Hi pUl|,
I'm waiting for a response from you. I try with this problem , but I can't obtain a solution for 3D case. in 2D it works well. Any hints? By looking to the mesh and the initialisation, is there errors that I can't see? please help. Djemai |
