Hello Group!

I am stuck with a problem with the FoamX case manager. Trying to start it by the command 'FoamX', I get the following two lines in response:

Starting NameServer with inet:linux-o4vi:1234 ...
nsd: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Afterwards nothing more happens and I have to use the ctrl-C combination to get back to a shell-prompt.
I tried the networking-capabilities according to the README file in the OpenFoam-1.4 directory and I could not find
any hint to the problem.
My installation of OpenFOAM-1.4 on a SUSE10.2 distribution ran without any problems and the foamInstallationTest-script also tells me that the crucial systems should work (see dump of the foamInstallationTest below).

I would really appreciate If someone could tell me what's wrong. At the moment I have not the faintest idea where to search...

Thank's a lot for your help.
Stefan

OpenSUSE should have libssl installed by default. However, just open Yast -> Software -> Software management.

Search for "libssl.so.0.9.7" using the "Provides" option and install the corresponding package. It should be something like compat-openssl097g.

Regards,
Alberto
