Hello every one
What are the equations by which OpenFOAM calculates the bed shear stresses? I have calculated the bed (wall) shear stresses by OpenFOAM 1812. I need the governing equations to write in my thesis. Thank you in advance Omidreza |

Hi reverseila Thank you The following equation is mentioned in the user guide τ=R⋅n R=Shear-stress symmetric tensor n= Patch normal vector (into the domain) but what are the equations by which R is calculated? |

As far as I can tell, It seems the value of R depends on the turbulence model
