Hello, I want to refine the mesh of a cube with edge length of 108mm. I am simulating a spray which sprays the fuel from the top to the bottom. I want to refine the mesh on the top where the fuel is injected to the cube. Further down and around the spray, the mesh should be coarser (green block). I want to divide the cube in 9 blocks, as you can see on the attached picture (and inject the fuel unlike on the picture, from the top to the bottom along y axis). The mesh in the middle block should be refined (red block).
I attached the paraview picture to show you from where the injection should begin. Is it possible to do that by only adjusting simpleGrading or multiGrading? If so, how do I adjust it to achieve this division and refined mesh? I tried it many times, but I don't get it how I want to. Thank you Last edited by Thiago800; September 3, 2022 at 13:26. |
