Hello everyone !!
I'm currently trying to simulate the flow around a cylinder (Re=3900) in order to extract the acoustic fields. To do so I'm using the rhoPimpleAdiabaticFoam (weakly compressible solver) solver which is particularly efficient for low Mach number flows. I'd like to know if we can use potentialFoam to initialize U and P ? Note that the 0/ folder contains all those paramaters files: alphaT, k, epsilon, nut, p, T, U. Thanks! Tyskies |

potentialFoam is only for incompressible flows, as far as I know. for compressible flows, you will need to implement your code, I'm afraid OR you can only use velocity field produced by potentialFoam.
