Dear all,
I have seen numerous tutorials on solving boiling problems with interCondensatingEvaporatingFoam, interThermalPhaseChangeFoam, phaseChangeHeatFoam which are based on Scharge and Lee model. All these tutorials are having "Constant wall temperature" boundary condition. We know, "Constant wall heat flux" is more practical way to implement heat condition. But, it is tricky, hence, most of developers of these codes have avoided implementing heat flux condition. Though, I have tried to provide "Heat flux" boundary condition with the help of temperature gradient (using swak4Foam), which is giving me reasonable result but with error ranging from 20-50%. TemperatureGradient = q/Keff, where q = heat flux and Keff = kL*alpha+kV*(1-alpha) Do, you know any more realistic way to apply the "Heat flux" boundary condition? |
