Hello,
I am trying to use snappyhexmesh to model a conjugate heat transfer problem. There are many solids to be cooled by a fluid. I am using .stl for different components to be meshed for a particular solid. However, not all of them are meshed properly. For example for a particular setting of blockMesh solid 1 is meshed while solid 2 is not meshed and its hollow (no volume mesh for solid 2 as seen in Paraview) and for other setting of blockMesh Solid 1 is not meshed ie hollow in paraview while solid 2 is meshed etc etc. Do you know why it is so and why the result depends so much on the background mesh given by blockMesh. Thanks in advance for help Last edited by bineet_aero; November 5, 2020 at 09:46. |
