increasing totalPressure Inlet boundary condition

Hey everyone
At the moment i'm trying to simulate a sonic flow, with rhoCentralFoam, And it is working properly how ever i experience an instability at the inlet. The boundary condition for inlet is totalPressure, p0 6 bar, Value 6 bar. I want to increase my initial p0 step by step, is it possible in openfoam? I mean for example i'd like to have an initial p0 of 6 bar, but i want to start from 1 bar and increase it every 100 timesteps. I would be happy if someone can help me. |

Hi,
Another possibility is to modify totalPressure BC's scalarField p0_; to PatchFunction1<scalar> p0_; so that you can use Function1' ramp function. It is not available yet - but sooner or later, the functionality you are looking for will be coded into totalPressure. You can modify it as above if you can't wait for it. Hope this helps.
