hello everyone
i want some help as i want to map results from mesh to another mesh in openfoam but with different geometry and boundary conditions,so i found the utility mapfields so i run mapfields with the mapfieldsdict in the system folder and the result was interpolated well to the other mesh. but when i refine both meshes and try mapfields it gave me this error in the attached image. i don't know why the mapfields utility failed! i appreciate if someone help me. the attached images are the error appeared to me and the mapfieldsdict. note: phi isn't the flux, it is a volscalarfield i created in my own solver. |

Hi,
In the case for your target mesh, do you have a time folder "3"? Mapfields has to map between the same times in both source and target. I see from your error that the target time is "0" From here: Quote:
