Hello,
I would like to compute air entertainment into a 2 dimensional air jet. The jet is created by a small nozzle and the nozzle exits into a domain that is open on two sides (ambient, quiescent conditions) and has a wall on one side. I set up an openFoam 2d RANS k-omega SST, but I have problems to converge the solution. I attached a sketch with the boundary condition. 2dboundedNozzleDomain.png I also attached the 0-folder 0.zip My guess is that I set the turbulent properties incorrectly. I do not really know what parameters to put. Any help is appreciated. I add some information about the mesh: The computation does not converge and crashes sometimes, but y+ after 100 iterations is like this: Type min max average wall 2.5875669e-03 5.4864200e-01 7.3375891e-02 nozzle 9.4616791e-02 1.4714430e+00 7.1330053e-01 I also have two screenshots of the mesh mesh1.jpg meshZoom.jpg I would really appreciate any help and comments regarding the BC and the Mesh. |
