Hi all,
I am trying to simulate the transport of Temperature as a passive scalar in a periodic channel flow case while applying the mean scalar gradient in the spanwise (z) or streamwise (x) direction. It is easy to setup a case when the mean scalar gradient is in wall normal (y) direction as we can easily use a fixedGradient T boundary condition on the wall. To apply scalar gradients in x or z directions, I guess the answer may lie in setFields, but i am not sure how exactly to do it. If anyone has done it before, can you please throw some light on the method? Thanks! |
