Hi,
I have performed some LES using a mapped velocity BCs at the inlet of my domain and would like to change this to a different velocity BC and continue the simulation. Is this possible in OpenFOAM v5? The last time step file for U has the vector data and I can see I will be able to change BCs for other boundaries (walls, outlet etc.) but cannot see away of changing the inlet BC. Thanks |

Hi Nathaniel,
I'm also trying to do something similar to it. What I've found so far is the changeDictionary utility, have you tried it? You could turn off the mapped boundary condition. You could also do it manually by editing the files in your time directory (I think!) but this is not feasible for my case, because I have to massively do it... I saw a video of a guy doing it, by I can't find the link. Best Regards, Luis |
