I'm pretty new to openFOAM, and need help setting up an internal flow problem.

I made a simple arch in ANSYS Fluent, and imported the mesh over to openFOAM. After setting up the problem, I obtained the results shown (see attached picture) - which shows the initial velocity at the inlet and outlet, and zero velocity everywhere else (on the walls) after 25s.

I'm assuming that this is because I'm seeing the velocities at the outside of the walls, which are zero, because the walls were all set to "noSlip". Unfortunately, I'm interested in the flow velocities and pressures inside the pipe, like the answers provided by ANSYS solvers.

I'm not sure how to solve/ visualise the internal flow, and I would appreciate any help. Please let me know if you need any of my code to deduce what I'm doing wrong.

Note: I went through the internal flow tutorial on The Foam House, but I don't think I can make a wedge and revolve it for my problem, due to the geometry.

Thats no result, that is an image.

I recommend to Analyse the real values of the velocity with some tools, like sample.

Hi!

If you have to visualize the flow inside the pipe, just create a slice in ParaView.
