Hello everyone,
First to say that I'm new in this field and this is my attempt to set the first simulation. I created a mesh using blockMesh and, since the geometry is quite complex, 2 regions has occured. My idea is to use a stitchMesh function to merge these regions, and I started with a simple case presented in a tutorials simple_cube, modified it and get the final mesh with one region. The problem that I'm facing now is running a simulation on this mesh. I created simple case of laminar 3D flow using simpleFoam (laminar_box case) with the same geometry, and tried to set these parameters on stitched mesh (simple_cube case), but it returns an error about the definition of patches for the faces that has been merged in 0 folder. My question is what should be set for them (since they are now internal faces) in 0 folder when defining initial conditions? I checked, ther is no face associated to these patches in checkMesh log file. Both cases, laminar_box and simple_cubes are attached. Thank you in advance , KKV_88 |
