Hi everyone,
I am trying to run a parallel simulation in OpenFOAM. When i choose 56 processors, i get the following error. When i use 28 processors, it works just fine. But for some reason, i can not use 56 processors for analysis. ''/***/***/***/***/system/decomposeParDict" specifies 56 processors but job was started with 28 processors. Is there anyone who could help me with this problem? Thx in advance. Oguz |

Is this on a cluster? How are you submitting the job?
It's suspicious that 28*2=56. So some script somewhere is doing something wrong with a factor of 2. |

Hi, thanks for the interest.
The problem was on the compiler. After I have re-installed the compiler, the problem is solved. Sent from my iPhone using CFD Online Forum mobile app |
