Hello,
My case is typical translational periodic flow. I found cycle, wedge etc. BC but I didn't find straight translational periodic. I use symmetry instead but I do not know if it is right? What is appropriate foam boundary for linear periodic and how to set it.
Thanks in advance,

BTW
I tried to run rhoSimpleFoam wit k-w SST turbulence, air perfect gas. I get the error at the begginning without any iteration. When I change the innitial condition ("0") it can do 2 to 4 iteration and k,omega and time residuals go extremaly high like e+15. Howewer as it iterate I gues the problem is in "0" not in solver setings. The bad is that I did the same calculation in Fluent end seting the foam BC with results from Fluent. This isn't first simulation with rhoSimpleFoam I have problem with. Do you have any advice or strategy for compressible SIMPLE solver with SST turbulence?
Johny

Okey I solved the periodic problem. But still it is impossible to make solver calculating. What are the best boundary condition for k and omega at inlet and outlet?
