BlockMesh Error when Meshing an Airfoil

Hey,
I get an error message I don't understand when meshing an airfoil. I attached an example of the airfoil and tried to show the problematic part. So when I mesh I use one hex element for the concave area of the profil as shown with the red lines. When I run a checkMesh on that everything is fine. However when I use more than one cell as shown with the yellow lines, I get an error saying: "Number of edges not aligned with or perpendicular to non-empty directions" so now I am wondering how this could be. As I said, I just changed the number of cells. Nothing else. Thanks for your help!! Last edited by Mahe88; November 21, 2016 at 12:36. |
