Hello everyone,
I have just started to use interFoam. I have few experience with OpenFOAM but I'm a yet beginner. I would like to run the Zalesak slotted disk problem which requires a constant velocity field. Particularly the velocity field is position dependent, the expression is u_x = -2 \pi y u_y = 2 \pi x I tried to use fvOption, using as type meanVelocityForce, but i think that in this way is only possible to add a value to the velociity field (the Ubar value), non an expression. Any suggests? Thank you in advance, Giovanni |

You can use funkySetFields to set your velocity profile:
https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/C...funkySetFields If you set momentumPredictor entry to no in fvSolution file, the initial velocity profile you set is kept unchanged.
