Hi friends. I am working on a project about combustion in a box-a DNS study.Since I am a freshman with OF, I come across many problems. One of my problems is how to define a region with specific gas like n-heptane, I want a spherical region in my box, which is filled with n-heptane. However, I don't know how to achieve it.
Many thanks in advance. |

I am using reactingFoam instead of XiFoam. And I hava define a region with different gas with setfields utility. You can learn about damBreak for a example, which is in the tutorial-multiphase-interFoam. SH |

Thank you for the suggestion. I used the utility "setFields" as in the damBreak example. I think I miss something because XiFoam does not read the defined gas region. Please give more about using setFields for defining a gas region. I used setFields for mapping Su for example (e.g. Su=0 outside the gas region) but it does not work. Thanks, PO Last edited by Pier84; April 19, 2016 at 02:16. |
