Hi Foamers.
I have to simulate the process of membrane distillation in which the membrane is hydrophobic and only vapour can pass through it. So, close to the membrane, the water evaporates and then the vapour go through it and condense in the permeate side. I start with the declaration of the regions (water side, membrane, vapour side) using chtmultiregionFOAM. Now I want to add the phase change in the fluid solver. Do you think it is the right way? Or I can use interPhaseChangeFOAM, specify the membrane with specific boundary conditions and add the heat equation. Which of the two possibility will be successful? Any advice? thank you. |

Did you get your job done ? I'm dealing with the same matter as you and i'm new with openFoam. Any suggestions that could help me ? Thank you
