How to maintain certain initialization throughout simulation ?

Hello,

I need to maintain certain set initialization throughout the whole simulation, for example, in my CFD domain there is some gas phase volume fraction in some part of domain which I need to preserve throughout the whole run.

I am able to set initialization via setFileds and funkySetFileds but after first iteration that set fields disappeared!

Any suggestion to fix this issues?

Hi,

Keywords would be fvOptions, constraints, general, explicitSetValue. Unfortunately there is no examples for this type of fvOptions in tutorials, yet comment in $FOAM_SRC/fvOptions/constraints/general/explicitSetValue/ExplicitSetValue.H allows to deduce syntax.
