Hello all,
I am quite new to OpenFOAM, and hope to prescribe inlet Boundary Condition with a laminar velocity profile computed from Blasius solution. In other words, I have prepare the velocity profile in a dat file with the following format, for instance. How can I prescribe such profile to the inlet boundary then? If there is any utility available? y U 0 0 0.1 0.1 0.5 0.2 1 0.6 |

Hi,
I am newby, but I think you can make a fitting of your profile and after that you can program the expression of the fitting in a groovyBC. best regards |

Thanks towanda, the fitted profile may be not very precise. Do you know any utility that I can just read of import the profile data from external data file?
With regards |
