Hello,
i'm using the chtMultiRegionFoam to perform an heat transfer study throughout a domain with different regions and i want to establish that one of the regions have their properties depending on the temperature read on a certain part of the domain. I have a table with the properties values varying with the temperature. Right now i'm trying to implement this using the thermophysicalProperties dictionary but i haven't find a way to do it. Does anyone know a good way to implement such thing? Thanks in advance, Regards |

Hi Joao,
If you know a correlation that relates such properties to temperature you can use polynomial type for transport properties and hPolynomial for thermo properties instead constIso and hConst... Best regards, Alex

Hi Alex,
thanks for you input. I know that and i tried to get that correlation and implement it with the polynomial but i did not succeed. Still a possibility and i'm going to check it one more but still if there is a way to inserted the properties directly from a table would be better when changing material or the polynomial cannot be used.
