Hey Foamers,

I hope that you are all enjoying the forum and the cfd world. I am new about using openfoam. My first example was about the cavity example. I followed the steps as it is written on the openFoam website. I successfully got the results about it. Currently, I am working on the air-foil example using simplefoam. In this example, I obtained both the lift and drag forces by implementing a special file in the system folder. The second step was about getting the monitor convergence in which I implemented a script file with the Allclean and Allrun. I obtained the residual and the no of iterations for the velocity and pressure.
I just need to know how to implement the k-epsilon turbulence mode in this example since it already works with Spalart-Allmaras.

Hey Foamers,

I have executed the 2D airfoil example that is provided with simple-foam. I used the SpalartAllmaras turbulence model since it is the default turbulence model.

I want to switch to the k-epsilon turbulence model. I have searched the forums and have not found a simpleFoam case with k-epsilon model.

Would someone please upload a 2D converged simpleFoam case which has the k-epsilon turbulence model implemented. I want to study how the fvScheme and fvSolution files are set up and how they differ from my k-epsilon case.
