Hi,
I need to run a simulation with porous zones in OF211. I've already ran the same simulation with OF230 but the setup of the porous zones - and the related files - is different from OF211, but I need to use that. So, I created a "porousZones" file in "constant" folder, like suggested by the tutorial of the angleduct. And nothing else. I didn't create the fvOptions file which has been introduced from OF220 and neither the "PorosityProperties" file. When I run the simulation in OF230, I get this: Code:
Create time Create mesh for time = 0 Reading field p Reading field U Reading/calculating face flux field phi Selecting incompressible transport model Newtonian Selecting turbulence model type laminar Creating finite volume options from fvOptions Selecting finite volume options model type explicitPorositySource Source: porosity1 - applying source for all time - selecting cells using cellZone porous1 - selected 1741 cell(s) with volume 8.97893e-07 Porosity region porosity1: selecting model: DarcyForchheimer creating porous zone: porous1 While, when I try to run the same thing in OF211 (with the modified files) I get that: Code:
Create time Create mesh for time = 0 Reading field p Reading field U Reading/calculating face flux field phi Selecting incompressible transport model Newtonian Selecting turbulence model type laminar No field sources present Is it correct? Or am I doing anything wrong?? Thanks, Regards Alessandro |
