Hello Foamers,

I have started to use OpenFOAM this year, and right now I'm trying to use it to perform an ABL simulation considering the temperature effects, so a decide to use the buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam solver.

The simulation consists in a flat terrain with a Box in the middle, the top BC is 310K hot and the rest (inlet, outlet, sides, ground and Box) is 283k.

The U in the inlet is a log prifile made with the ABLconditions file (took from the turbineSiting tutorial).

When I start the solver it start the calculations but, for some reason that I don't know, the time step continuity errors goes up high and the simulation stops with a "floating point exception". I think this has to be with the BC (correct me if I'm wrong).
So I have some questions:

1. How am i supose to setup the initial "p_rgh" file?

2. The "p" file is really needed?

Thanks in advance.
Sorry for the bad English.

Leonardo Oliveira.

Could you solve the problem? I have the same problems.
