Hi all,
I'm trying to do some simulations with airfoils in transonic conditions but I'm having an issue with some boundary conditions. When the bow shock reaches the top and bottom parts of my C mesh some instabilities appear and after some more iterations the solver crashes. Initially the top and bottom BC's were set as the inlet, fixedValue for both velocity and pressure. Afterwards I tried to change to other BC's but I still had no luck. I've tried freestream, slip, zeroGradient and outletInlet BC's for velocity, maintaining fixedValue for pressure, except for freestream. So I ask if any of you have an idea on how I could set these BC's to fix it. Thanks in advance, Jefferson Vieira |

I've changed the top and bottom BC's to waveTransmissive and now it's working fine.
