Hi all,
Before anything, I am a beginner to OF. My case is to simulate the speed of sound in compressible multiphase flows using the Euler-Euler approach. the closest solver that was suitable was the compressibleTwoPhaseEulerFoam solver. However, I'm not able to find out the governing equations that are solved in the solver. I would require to know them in order to analyze if the solver is suitable for my case, and if changes are necessary. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance! |

Dear Aravindhan,
I also studied compressibleTwoPhaseChangeEulerFoam, you can start from the equations reported in http://www.diva-portal.org/smash/get...FULLTEXT01.pdf. Consider that in the thesis there are the mass transfer terms that are missing in the code. Simone |
