rnburne is on a distinguished road
Following the example in User Guide (p30), I'm able to map data
from one run file (coarse) to another (fine) without an error message:

rr@linux-4s0i:~> mapFields -case fine -consistent coarse
/*---------------------------------------------------------------------------*\

Build : 2.2.x-71fcc245333b
Exec : mapFields -case fine -consistent coarse

Case : ./fine
nProcs : 1

Consistently creating and mapping fields for time 500

interpolating alphat
interpolating mut
interpolating rho
interpolating p
interpolating T
interpolating k
interpolating omega
interpolating U

End

However, ALL the newly created files (alphat, omega, p, etc) have
nonsensical entries that were not present in the original file.
As an example, from T :

0 (~ line 152,000)
0

-nan

Also, OF version 2.0 (CAElinux disc) behaves in a similar fashion.
It appears that this issue has been experienced by others but there is no clear solution.
What am I doing wrong?
