Hi everyone,
im quite new to of but i already setup some geometries and simulated successfully with icoFoam and simpleFoam. I want to compare a existing cfx-simulation with of. It is stationary, incompressible and isotherm and the geometry is more or less a tube. For the Inlet boundary-condition in cfx I used a user-function which measures a pressure-drop (between two interfaces) and puts a related massflow to the Inlet. So my question is how can i establish such a "user-function" in of, does anyone has a Idea? Thanks! |

Have a look at groovyBC http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib_groovyBC
I think it should be possible with it (you can determine the pressures at different positions and calculate values based on them to be used as boundary conditions). Also search this forum. See also http://openfoamwiki.net/images/7/7a/...icTraining.pdf and search for Boundary conditions with feedback |

Hi Jherb,
thanks for the helpful links, I will try groovyBC for that. Thank you! |
