Good day all,
Please tell me whether it is possible the standard ways in OpenFOAM or OpenFOAM-extend solve the problem of plastic deformation of the crankshaft forging of a vehicle according to the scheme shown in Fig. Turn in the above areas is carried out by 60 degrees around the axis of the part. crankshaft forging is heated to about 900 degrees Celsius (plasticity of the material parameters can be found in their references). cranckshaft.jpg Results of research should be a diagram of stress-strain state. ideal solution would be to find a distortion of the shape crankshaft after the turn and the load is removed and slow cooling.
