Hi,
I've managed to get OpenFoam 2.3.0 installed to Fedora 20 following the link to OpenFoam Wiki, Most things are working except running the cases in parallel. The meshing process seems to work fine, but following the run of decomposePar nothing gets split between the processors (the folders appear correctly - ie processor*) and the case completes immediately with no results. The same cases work fine under 2.2.2 (from the RPM pack)? Could anybody tell me what Im doing wrong? Thanks |

Greetings Tom and welcome to the forum!
Well... without knowing what were the exact steps you've taken and with which case and/or tutorial case, it's really complicated to guess what you might be doing wrong and/or right. Therefore, my best guess is that the wrong step you've done is to not have read this thread: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...-get-help.html Best regards, Bruno
