pimpleDyMFoam case setup

Dear All,
I am looking for some information to setup pimpleDyMFoam case, so far I am working with MRFSimpleFoam with cyclic boundary conditions. I am using Gambit, and OF-2.1.1. For MRFSimpleFoam solver, whole computational domain is subdivided in to three volume namely inlet volume, fan volume and outlet volume. In between inlet volume and fan volume, there is a face, both volume are sharing the information, the same way for fan volume and outlet volume. (conformal mesh) Now I want to use pimpleDyMFoam, my question are: 1) can I use the same mesh, which I used for MRFSimpleFoam? I think, the answer is no. Because each volume should have its own face, am I right? 2) please advise me, what are the things that I need to take care before generating mesh sliding mesh. Thanks, Sivakumar |
