Hi all,
I'm a beginners so please forgive me if my questions are dumb... I'm trying to use fireFoam (v2.2) for multiple reaction combustion. In particular, I'm trying to simulate a diffusion flame with spray injection. I'm using: thermoType { type hePsiThermo; mixture reactingMixture; transport sutherland; thermo janaf; energy sensibleEnthalpy; equationOfState perfectGas; specie specie; } The code runs, but no combustion is started. I'm sure the reactions are correct (they work when using reactingFoam), so I guess the problem is in setting the constant files for combustion. It only works correctly when using only one reaction. I would like to know if anybody else has tried something similar: do you know how to set the case for multiple reaction? Do you know if there are any documents/tutorials I can study to understand deeper how fireFoam works? I've seen dieselFoam was quite similar to what I'm trying to study: do you know if there's something similar in v2.2? Thank you all!!! |
