Hi everyone,
I'm trying to set up a porous zone in OpenFOAM-2.2.1 using the Darcy-Forchheimer coefficients. I'm assuming laminar flow inside the porous zone, so f is neglectible in my case. My geometry is a simple channel with an inlet, the porous zone and an outlet. I want to achieve a restriction to axial flow inside the porous zone. How do I do this? I expected very high d values in the orthogonal directions and a realistic value in axial direction to work out as I want, but I'm afraid that didn't do it. Best regards, Robert |
