Dear All,

I am trying to set a chtMultiRegionFoam case. I started from a Salome mesh that seems to be ok.

Later, I have exported 5 different .unv file (air, solid_i, i = 1:4).

What sould I do, now? How can I get a single mesh, starting from 5 different files?

Can anyone provide an idea?

Thanks a lot,
Sam

Have a look at mergeMeshes and stitchMesh. Good luck!

the other way around is to mesh the entire domain in salome and subdivide them into regions inside salome by creating volumes/groups. that way when you import the mesh into OpenFOAM, it will recognize the regions after you apply splitMeshRegion -cellZones.
