Hello Everyone,
this is my first message in this forum, so I first say Hi to everyone here! My question is: I have written my final thesis (university degree) about a transient fluid structure interaction of the hypersonic flight of a rocket with ANSYS CFX. The heating of the structure (rocket nose) has also been studied. I now want to model the same problem with openFoam. Do you know if that is possible? I found a solver named areafoam. Is this suitable for this? Do you now other solvers? Do I need more than one solver? Do you know if aerofoam works with the newest release of openfoam (v2.1.1)? I have just started using openFoam, so I am not very familiar with that yet. Hope you can give me some help! Cheers, Ay82 |
