Hello Foamers,

I am attempting to add a source term to the momentum equation (pisoFoam) at the cell faces. I am aware that these terms are usually defined at the cell centers: my problem works just fine when do it this way, except for the apparition of velocity oscillations (wiggles) around the region where I locate the source term (shaped as a thin disk). I am trying to do this differently, defining the source at the faces. In this way, however, I have been unable to find the cell interpolation scheme that will interpolate the surfaceScalarField/surfaceVectorField to their cell center counterparts, so the term can be added to the momentum equation.

A source term can be defined at the faces at all??

Thank you,

Hugo
