I have run into problem using wallHeatFlux utility to obtain patches heat fluxes when applied to chtMultiRegionFoam solver. The message I am getting is:

--> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR:
cannot find file

file: /home/lada/OpenFOAM/lada-2.0.0/run/BALKON/balkon_svisle_1/constant/thermophysicalProperties at line 0.

From function regIOobject::readStream()
in file db/regIOobject/regIOobjectRead.C at line 73.

Is there any way to solve this problem except for writing my own wallHeatFlux utility?

I had to modify patchIntegrate or patchAverage or combine both of them to define a utility that would give me the heat fluxes. My model was a rather simple one (essentially heat conduction only) consisting of multiple solids with defined heat transfer coefficient and temperature at the outer surface.
And I wasn't able to get the fluxes via the wallHeatFlux utility.

Thanks for your Reply.
Unfortunately i'm stuck on a coorporate installation where compiling self made tools is an enormous hassle.
I am surprised, that it is difficult to obtain wall heat Flux in a very simple incompressible steady state fluid solid system...

Sadly, I'm not too skilled at modifying or writing my own codes as that one was my first one. I have slightly diverted my attention off the openFoam. I've tried looking up whether wallHeatFlux is applied within tutorials but no success. I'm sorry but I can't help you much.
I suppose asking you 'have you searched the forum here for anything related to your application' is rather silly.
