I've been looking all over the forum for the answer to this question, so please forgive if I just haven't found it.

When using post-processing utilities like wallHeatFlux and the like on a 2D simulation (ie, with empty front and back patches), is the quantity calculated based on the cell thickness specified in the mesh description (blockMesh, etc), or does it assume unity?

ie, if wallHeatFlux calculates a flux of 0.1 MW/m^2 on a wall that has been specified as 10 cm thick, then what is the actual heat flux? 0.1 MW/m^2 or 1 MW/m^2?
