Hi chaps,
I am passing 100000 nodes into sample dictionary for a domain and I did make sure that all the coordinates are inside the domain, however when sample is runed some of the points although they are inside the physical doamin are missing and I am receiving no error on this, can any one help me to figure out how can I resolve this issue when sampling? cheers |

Hi,
I have experienced the same problem and I do not know why. I have found that it can help if you slightly move the start/end points and/or maybe changing the number of points. I think it might have something to the do with sample not "liking" when points land exactly on a cell face, but I am just guessing. Philip |

I am also experiencing the same problem. Do you know more about this now? See my post http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...ber-patch.html Besides that, I check the sampled Value with original patch value in VTK fie with paraview, there is also some difference, I really do not get it. |
