Hello,
I've been working on the primary atomization using a coupled VOF and Lagrangian solver with Adaptive Mesh Refinement, and now I'm trying to obtain the time-averaged results of 'alpha.water'. The solver involves tracking liquid droplets and converting them to Lagrangian parcels. Thus, for the Lagrangian component, should I convert them back to the Eulerian field first, or should I perform time averaging on the particles and then combine it with the time-averaged alpha.water? I'm not sure which is feasible or better. Regarding the Eulerian phase, I also encountered some issues, possbly due to the dynamic mesh. I've tried 'Temporal Statics', and 'fieldAverage' which diverged and crashed with a Segmentation fault. I also tried the 'Resample To Image' in paraview, but only the velocity field was left after filtering. I'm looking for any feasible methods that I can try to achieve the desired time-averaged volume fraction. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help! |
