I am receiving the error

"/tmp/tmp.NMy7Go" line 8: function to plot expected

After executing the command

foamMonitor -l postProcessing/residuals/0/residuals.dat

I believe gnuplots is generating a new tmp file every time the command is run in /tmp. The contents of the file contains:

Line 8 is right after plot \
