Hi,
i experience a "phenomenom" with paraFoam. Since 7 years i run studies (about ~800 since) with OpenFOAM and i have never seen this: The arrow points to a brighter area, why is it brighter or why is there the wallShearStress different than other areas? I use OpenFOAM v2306 with Ubuntu. Solver is simpleFoam, steady state, no turbulence. The fluid is a polymer, so you can say it is non-newtonian. The meshing is done with Ansys CFD PrepPost and so far the settings are OK, checkMesh says three skewed faces .... I can share my OF settings, if needed. |
