Hello
I am trying to post-process a solution consisting of two bodies in contact using the tutorial "punch" in solids4foam: punch.png 1. identify contact regions, loads, etc. 2. generate two meshes 3. mergeMeshes to have a single mesh 4. assign material properties to mesh using setCells Although the mesh is merged, we still know the cells corresponding to each region (body1 & body 2). If I visualize it in paraview, I can only select boundary patches independently: paraview.png Is there a way to retrieve the original bodies (from the cellSets) and visualize independently body1 and body2 ? I apologize if the answer is obvious. I have tried using splitMeshRegions -cellSet. It produces the regions inside the solution folder (1 in my case) but it doesn't assign the computed field values (displacement, stress) to each one so I can only visualize the meshes. Many thanks !!! |
